Handpainted plate with gold plated handles. Measures 10" from edge to edge and 11" from edge of handle to the other. On the back it is signed by MZ Austria. The numbers "1310" are embedded just above, as shown in the one photo.
MZ Austria is the trademark of Moritz Zdekauer porcelain factory in Altrohlau, Austria. The mark dates this plate from 1881 to 1909, when the factory was producing porcelain with beautiful hand-painted flowers and gold trim.
The number 1310 embedded on the back of the plate may indicate the shape, size, or pattern of the plate.
