Pleasant Company American Girl Samantha Doll purchased for my daughter.
Dating: it's very difficult to provide a definitive age, but the following characteristics point to an early edition.
- body is unbleached muslin
- marking back of neck is arched
- dress tag says 1986
- hair is very thick, short hairs and wig cap show in back
- eyelashes are delicate, light brown
- coloring of limb cups, face and vinyl
Condition:
- clean, no stains or storage odors
- original dress, tights, shoes and hat included
- tights are snagged
- hat needs repair
- hair is uncut, but messy
- eyes are intact and have not been restored or replaced
- limbs are tight, not loose
This doll is VINTAGE condition and not PERFECT.
