Good overall condition given its age. Had a copyright date marked in the front lower left of 1916 and is signed Chicago Portrait Co. The frame looks like gesso over wood and has been repainted at some point in its past. Measures approx 22” x 16”. Has a sticker on the bottom back with a handwritten note that it was from 1896, which this obviously can’t be quite that old given the copyright date on front. There is some paint flaking and loss to the glass (see photos).
