A beautiful example of early British pink lusterware, this antique cup and saucer set dates to the 19th century and features transfer-printed black scenic decoration with a hand-applied pink lustre rim and a gilded handle accent. Origin is Britain, c. 1825–1850 (Staffordshire / Sunderland style). Black transferware scenic design on both cup & saucer. Pink lustre rim with iridescent glaze. Gilded handle accent. Measurements: Saucer approx. 5.25” wide; Cup approx. 2.75” tall, 3.75” wide to handle.
