This exceptional carved jade brooch dates from the Art Deco period, circa 1920. Although the jade is older, it is of Chinese origin and likely carved in the mid-19th century. The craftsmanship is exceptional, characterized by foliage. It's set in a 14K mount with a diamond on the bottom and a single Ruby at the top. The jade is 1 5/8" x 5/8" and weighs 3.5 grams.
**P.S. There is a hairline crack on top.
