Key fob and transponder in the key does not work as the battery inside the key is dead and non replaceable .
These keys have non replaceable battery and if car is not running for a long time , the battery inside loses power and the key cannot be used to turn on the car .
It can be used if you swap the inner circuit board from your working bmw key into this key shell as this key is already cut according to the key cylinder it comes with.
