A-type reproduction model
When you think of DENIME, created by Yoshiyuki Hayashi of RESOLUTE, you think of the rugged vertical fading and indigo texture of the xx model. This model reproduces the 501 Big E A-type of the early 60s, and features sharp vertical fading and a blue indigo color.
Carefully made with A-type exclusive fabric and dyes using old-fashioned power looms, it was positioned as a high-end line.
The silhouette is not the baggy feel of the 50s XX, but the clean straight of the BIG E.
I own several BIG E jeans, and the silhouette, of course, the vividness of the dye, the unevenness of the fabric, and the way the wear appears are all faithfully reproduced.
