This piece is characteristic of the designs produced by a number of vetrerias / glass houses working in and around Empoli and Florence in the Tuscany region during the 1960's. The piece is done in a bold Ruby shade which shows rich color and excellent clarity. The pitcher measures 7" high, 7 ¼" wide at the handle and 6" deep. The base has the pictured pontil mark. The piece is in excellent condition with no damage. addition to/ Italian Empoli (?) art glass.
