SPECIAL: The inscribed and SIGNED by the Author on second front flyleaf. Receiver of the book, one of the author's Sunday School pupils, inscribed on the front flyleaf.
INTERESTING: From the internet (NOT mentioned in the book) I learned that Margaret Ely Robertson, the eldest Ely daughter, married Rev. Arthur Erwin Robertson (1876-1964) of Princeton, W. VA., in 1906. The Robertsons built “Monte Vista”, a home located just west of Elydale. Margaret wrote Evangeline of Old Virginia, “a novel about a heroine’s growing up in Virginia and with a WWI love affair.”
Condition: Pages have some spotting and smudging, heaviest on the first pages. Most are crisp and clean. Cover has wear. Small separation to front inside binding
