This is a frame for glasses by Fred of Paris. The design is Ellesmere type F1, one of the most sought after designs for Fred. The glasses (shades)the blue ones, can be taken out to put the shape, strenght and clour of your desire to the frame. See last photo’s as example. Now these blue shades have a specific form bur you can choose whatever you want and let your optician do the work. This is a phenomenal design, marked on the “legs” Fred 140 Ellesmere 022 F1 57018, on other leg Fred handmade in France CE 140. Legs are wood. On nose bridge B18085, on sides stylishly marked Fred, both sides. Will come with the blue shades, but this selling is for the frame only. Excellent condition. Boxed in original box.
