John Lounsebery was a Disney animator who worked on countless characters from 1935 (when he was an assistant animator on Snow White) until the time of his death in 1976 (when he was working on the Rescuers). He was named a Disney legend in 1989, the same year the Disney/MGM Studios opened. This print commemorates the 10th anniversary of that event.
This sketch, on plain, white, Disney embossed paper, comes in a black Mickey Mouse ears frame. Tag on the back says: Made in Disney Thailand. Framed print is 16.5 inches by 13.5 inches. The sketch itself measures approximately 12.5 inches by 10 inches. Print is in MINT condition. Frame has some wear, including puncture marks in the back. The print is unaffected by the blemishes on the frame.
