This teapot is a wonderful example of a modern reproduction of a classic form. A great addition to any good teapot collection!
It is a Staffordshire Flow Blue teapot in the form of a Toby Parliament Judge. A large portly (and rather ugly) man seated with his legs extended in front, he holds on to both the handle and the spout. 3-dimensionally molded, nice thick rich blue glaze. His hat serves as the lid. The underside is unmarked.
Measures 9 3/4 L x 8 1/4 H (including lid) x 5 3/4 W inches. This teapot is unused and in perfect mint condition. It has only been displayed in a glass case since its purchase 20+ years ago. Sorry, no original box included.
