My mom called the color “Carolina Garnet” and it was a staple for her attendance at cold weather SC Gamecock football games.
The color can be considered a deep red, garnet, or burgundy. Classic jewel toned.
The tag is loose on one corner. I took a picture of the backside of the tag so you can see the quality and care that was taken when making this scarf.
The scarf is in incredible shape for the age. It doesn’t look brand new, but you would never guess that it is over 50 years old.
If you are a Gucci collector then this is your unicorn. It is a very rare find.
