Listed for sale is a vintage Halloween WITCH and JACK-O-LANTERN TIN BOX by TINDECO from America c. 1930s. This small round lidded tin box was manufactured by the Tin Decorating Company (Tindeco) of Baltimore, MD. It's plated with a dark black color overall with a lithographed image on the top lid of a young witch girl holding a broom. Pierced through the broom at the top is an orange pumpkin JOL. The witch wears a bluish-black cape and matching tall pointy hat. She has a yellow dress with blonde hair. She even wears a black eye mask - all ready to go 'trick-or-treating' through her neighborhood.
The interior and bottom of the box are embossed with the maker's mark "Tindeco". This holiday-themed box measures 4 inches in diameter. It remains in very good condition with a few surface scratches in places, including along the edges (please see photos). The interior and bottom also show a bit of tarnishing.
