Vintage Mid Century Max Carl Wind Up Somersaulting Tumbling Wind Up Clown Toy
▪︎ Rare & hard to find super cool & kinda creepy vintage 1950s Max Carl wind up somersaulting/tumbling clown toy/figurine.
▪︎ Winds up & his arms flip/rotate around & around to make him do flips - his legs are basically just fabric & hang there for ease of movement.
▪︎ The nose is a button & I think it's supposed to honk or squeak but it doesn't work.
▪︎ Measures approximately 10 & 1/2 inches long, outstretched.
▪︎ Made primarily of wood & plastic.
- Winds up & rotates with still quite a lot of strength & works well.
- As previously mentioned, pushing the nose doesn't make any noise anymore.
- There is cosmetic wear present consistent with age & use.
- Some scratches, marks, scuffs, fading/discoloration, sticky dust, etc.
- There are several small holes or tears in the clothing.
- Structurally seems to be in very solid & sound condition.
