Vintage & rare German A1 movie poster (23” x 33”) for 1957 Columbia Pictures release of “Pal Joey”, a musical comedy loosely based on a Rodgers & Hart play starring Frank Sinatra, Rita Hayworth & Kim Novak. The film, a big box office & critical success, was nominated for 4 Oscars. Sinatra won the Golden Globe for Best Actor - Motion Picture for his role as wise-cracking, hard-bitten Joey Evans. Hit songs sung included “The Lady is a Tramp”, “Bewitched, Bothered, & Bewildered”, & “My Funny Valentine”
This vintage German A1 poster (23” by 33”) for 1957 release of the classic film is in very fine condition after restoration to address scuffs & creases plus minor paper loss/tears & fill in pinholes.
