Rare vintage signed Schreiner New York clip-on earrings from the 1950s, featuring a dramatic starburst design. Each 1.75" earring centers on a faceted deep sapphire rhinestone, surrounded by alternating pear- and square-cut stones in icy blue and navy, all hand-set in gunmetal-tone pronged settings. Classic Schreiner elements include the layered construction and bold color mix. Both clips are signed and function well. One small rhinestone is missing (see photos), but overall condition is excellent. A striking and collectible piece of mid-century costume jewelry.
