1970 sleeping gnome on tree stump cookie jar.
This is so adorable! A sleeping gnome surrounded by forest critters. A bunny rabbit is peaking from its door along with two other critters using the stump for their home.
There are no chips or cracks. If you enlarge the photo of the gnome's face you'll see very slight age-related cracking of the glaze. It's very slight but worthy, I thought, to point out.
This is a hand-painted hobbyist piece, and the bottom is marked RL 70, so it's over 50 yrs. old! It's just too cute! Reminds me of one of the dwarves in Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.

This is a one of a kind item, and the colors are so fabulous!
This can be used for many things....a cookie jar, a canister, or just a home decor piece.
