Vintage Retro 1970s Christmas Embroidered Crewel Wall Hanging with an angel playing a trumpet next to a candle on a holly or evergreen bough. I believe this is a type of advent calendar, because there are 24 stars, with the number 24 embroidered by one large star. Perhaps decorations were pinned on once a day to each star, but this listing is for the wall hanging only.
Nice vintage preowned condition: a bit dusty consistent with age, use, and storage, and the back is wrinkled. The wall hanging itself is about 30" x 12"; including the rope hanger, it's about 39" long.
